He has represented hundreds of health care professionals in all phases of the licensing process; by either defending their Florida licenses or in the license application process. In addition, he has represented a variety of clients in licensing matters before what is now the Florida Department Business and Professional Regulation and the Florida Department of Financial Services.

Early in his licensing law career, Jerry worked as a contract prosecutor for the Florida Department of Education.

Jerry has taught Legal Ethics at the Florida State University, School of Law, and he has taught business law at FSU’s School of Business. For the past several years, Jerry has volunteered as a Courtesy Assistant Professor at FSU’s College of Medicine.
